This 1976 FJ40 was restored Stage Three, with some modern tweaks and an updated drivetrain. We started with an exceptional original FJ40 lacking smog equipment. That was part of the motivation to convert the engine. We replaced it all with a new GM 5.3 Erod aluminum V8 mated to a new Toyota H55f Transmission and a rebuilt 19 spline split transfer case. Old Man Emu suspension, stock axles updated with 4WDB, ARB lockers and more. P/C, A/C, Polyurea coated body floors and underside, all new OEM weather-stripping, all new OEM emblems, stock style headliner, updated front seats and rear stock jump seats upholstered in Bison.
